Keeping up with the Kandasamys premiere

The premiere of Keeping up with the Kandasamys was held on 23 January at Cedar Square Fourways and presented a spectacular red carpet event.

The star-studded event was filled with fabulous food and people. The cast were all dressed up to the nines and really made an effort to pay their respects to the writers and directors of the film.

Actress Jailoshini Naidoo said she had to work hard to adjust to her character in the movie because they were not very similar in nature, but she found the experience liberating and fun.

Jayan Moodley, the director of the movie, only had golden words to speak of her acting cast.

Guests enjoyed a smashing performance by Kyle Deutsch who performed the theme song for the movie, Can’t Get Enough.

Friends and families of the cast filled the cinema, as well as community members eager to support the South African production.

The film left a train of laughter as audience members gathered at Cubana’s for the afterparty.

The must-see South African production will be officially released in March.
