New Glenhazel studio to give free dance lessons to the community

Tanya Taub will offer free dance classes at the new Dance Style Junkie Studio in Glenhazel.

The new Dance Style Junkie Studio in Glenhazel will offer free classes to those interested in contemporary dancing as part of its official opening on 3 July.

There will be two free classes on the day starting in the morning and everyone who is interested in dancing is invited.

According to dance trainer and choreographer, Tanya Taub, there will be funk mixed with hip-hop dance on the day.

“The studio is officially opening on the day and we will be offering free lessons as a trial,” said Taub.

“There will be a variable of dance which includes fusion, street, popping and various other dancing moves that are very exciting. This is more of a fun and amusement for dancers or people to let loose and we are very excited about this move to Glenhazel. This will also be a stepping stone for dancers who wish to take their dancing abilities to greater heights.”

Taub, who previously owned a dance company in Centurion and Blackheath, said she has worked with some of the best renowned artists in the industry.

For those who are interested in joining the classes on a permanent basis, Taub said there would be a monthly fee ranging in various prices.
