#ICYMI: DA members gather to support Herman Mashaba

A crowd of about 250 to 300 Democratic Alliance (DA) supporters have arrived at Pieter Roos Park in Johannesburg to show their support for Executive Mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba.

Crowds of people make their way to Pieter Roos Park in Johannesburg in support of Herman Mashaba.

Addressing the crowd, Mashaba promised the crowd that he would continue fighting for Johannesburg and that the vote of no confidence against him was a waste of time.

More people are currently arriving in buses. The crowd is being entertained by music and dancers.

A number of people are still making their way to the park in busses.

The crowd will march to Council Chambers in a show of support for Herman Mashaba, and will be lead by Mmusi Maimane.
