#ICYMI: Johannesburg Junior Council to host a tournament for charity

The Johannesburg Junior Council.

The Sports and Recreation Committee of the Johannesburg Junior Council will a host a high school 7-a-side soccer tournament on 20 May.

The tournament will be held at Pirates Sports Club in Greenside and is a charity fundraiser for the Eldorado Park-based non-profit organisation, Growing Champions.

All proceeds will go toward this charitable organisation that aims to mentor young children, who are vulnerable to abuse, drugs and gangsterism, through sport. Donations to this worthy cause are also welcome.

Time: 12.30am

Where: Pirates Sports Club, Cruden Bay Road, Greenside

Entry: R50 per player
